Writer

We are seeking a professional native-English writer to join our team. The role is to write up articles and content for developing a book. The electronic content delivered must be written in a professional and creative style and grammatically correct.  

The key elements of this role will include the following

• Brainstorm the topic in focus with the team

• Take care of necessary research for the topic in focus

• Convert the ideas into a solid outline (preparation)

• Whip the outline into shape with the aim to write clearly and engagingly (without plagiarism)

• Edit (spelling and grammatical corrections) and polish the content

• Publish content to relevant social media platforms

• Transcript audio files

• To this writing

Location, Duration, and Salary:

• Period 6 months plus (potential for long-term work)

• Type: Part-time and working remotely / home based

• Remuneration via PM

Essential requirements for this role:

• Previous writing experience with some examples of written work

• Excellent communication (oral plus written) and interpersonal skills

• Self-starter and the ability to work in a team and collaborate

• Proven creative writing experience, with the mindset of new and exciting story-and-ideas

• Collection and synthesis of information on any subject

• Ability to streamline a process to deliver high-quality results within a short timeframe

• Excellent knowledge and experience with the internet and word processing software

• Pro-active and detail-oriented

• Flexibility, ability to organize and multi-task

• Impeccable English (native English speaker)

• Positive attitude and confident.

• Confidentiality and trust

• University undergraduate degree in journalism, creative writing, marketing, communications, or English literature is preferred.
