Vendue Tech (www.venduetech.com) is building a co-investment platform for distressed and undervalued real estate, where users will find all the relevant data regarding the latest distressed real estate investment opportunities.

What is distressed real estate? After companies go bankrupt, all of their assets are being liquidated, and this process has historically been inaccessible to regular investors, who did not have access to timely information or enough capital. The marketplace is vague, inefficient, low-tech, lengthy, and requires large volumes of legal knowledge, time, and manpower.

With Vendue Tech's cloud-native platform, we are consolidating all the necessary data sets into a data lake, enhanced with signal intelligence gathered by our Research Team, and advanced analytics.

We do this with improved user experience over web application, educational materials, advisory bots, legal advisory, notifications in near real-time on the latest happenings regarding a particular real estate. With our automatic bidding solution, you don’t miss to raise the bid on the live electronic auction.

Think of it as a Zillow app, but for distressed real estate.

Web scrapers written in language Go for 3 data sources (FINA, HGK, Sudacka-mreza)

Dashboards with real data done in Elastic Kibana

New auctions alerts are sent to Slack channel

Built 3 prototypes, including Figma design and clickable prototype

What is expected from a full-stack developer:

Objectives:

Build a web application that represents the scraped data in various types of dashboards, using tools like

Build alert system (Push notification, Slack message, Email, WhatsApp) when new data point arrives to the database (automatically or manually inserted)

examples of data that needs to notify customer: starting date of auction, new pictures added, end date of auction, due date for paying 10% deposit, auction postponed, auction ended, new auction arrived, discounted prices

include various filters for users: price ranges, location (city, country), property type (house, apartment, land, garage, parking lot, commercial, residential, agri land, build land)

(in phase 2) include 3rd party data for comparison, from sites like AirBnb, Tax systems from various countries, catastre, other public data such as Ownership papers, history of ownership and loans to banks, data from Legal Court databases about the auctioning processes

To adapt the scrapers for other Tier 1 country databases, e.g. USA, UK, Australia, Italy, Germany

Parse and normalize the data, connect with Google Maps API to show position on the map

Join multiple databases into one data lake on Postgres, and show in the web application and the Elastic Kibana

Users should be able to register, login, save their preferences for investment

Enable payment for 3 types of packages via Stripe

Make sure all the data is correctly formatted (int, string, float, etc.)

Suggest any changes to the ingestion code

Setting up the dashboards (sum, regression, various chart types, map view, etc.)

Filtering on the basis of our business requirements

Make sure all the data flow correctly, and is the right value

Maintenance of the project
