Job Summary:

æternity is growing, and we need a CFO to guide the financial systems that empower us. We’re searching for an experienced CFO to join our team of high-performing professionals.
The CFO will coordinate day to day accounting and controlling, sometimes being hands on, but also control, plan and develop our long-term investments and financing, growing our reporting and controlling systems on the way.
This requires a seasoned expert with leadership skills and a broad skillset in finance and controlling. As we are a Blockchain company, experience and/or interest in Crypto markets and Blockchain is highly appreciated. Work can either be remote as with many in our global team or in our office in Vaduz. We believe that a part-time engagement will suffice mid-term but are open to discussion other options.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible, either directly or by managing staff, for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the project’s financial strategy and hiring needs.
• Creating strategic analysis and plans regarding our financials and investments to support decision making with Management.
• Continuously developing our controlling and accounting systems.
• Ensure cash flow is compatible with project operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organization.
• Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement.

Key Qualifications for Success:

• Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role.
• In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Blockchain and Crypto Markets Experience/Interest, experience being a plus
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate.
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.

Availability: immediately
Location: remote from Germany, Austria, Switzerland or Liechtenstein, or other countries in and adequate time zone. Travel to Liechtenstein will be required.
Salary: negotiable
Estimated part-time position: 20 hours per week
